I SUPPORT LEGAL IMMIGRATION by raymangirl I SUPPORT LEGAL IMMIGRATION by raymangirl
All righty, a little about this stamp... had this idea for a while, just not the energy to do it. But now I have it... :XD:

I'm tired of illegal immigrants in my country, not paying taxes, feeding off our welfare system (which is also a mess, but made moreso by the millions of illegal immigrants), not speaking ENGLISH (or whatever language the country one lives in speaks primarily), and trafficking drugs/criminals/terrorists/whatever across the borders.

Now I'm American, and my country isn't the only one suffering this problem - all developed nations do. Some care about it, some don't give a rat's ass. America cares about this problem, but our government doesn't seem to think it's a huge problem, and politicians care only about votes, not what their public cares about. This is a huge financial and social issue.

Don't give me, oh they do stuff we wouldn't do... well, they can do it but they should be doing it LEGALLY, and paying their dues to the country they choose to live in. What I don't get is how illegal immigrants can own houses/apartments, have driver's liscenses, go to our schools, and expect the government to foot their bills if something goes wrong. We do not need to cater to them by changing our laws, schools, or being sympathetic. They might come from less fortunate countries, but if they really want to have a better life, they'll do it the right way.

We do not need to put everything in different languages to accomodate this growing population - sure, little pockets of people can do it (i.e., Chinatown, Greektown etc.), but not a whole nation! I am tired of dialing places and hearing, "press 1 to proceed in English", or reading directions and having to look through 50 different styles of writing before I get to the only one I can read!

I could go on and on, but I won't... if you care about your country, wherever you may live, please contact your government or local public office and SAY something!

Press 1 to proceed in English... press 2 for deportation

Feel free to use this stamp and spread the word!

I proudly support this stamp - My father is an immigrant from Zimbabwe, as he was trying to escape genocide. Now they're trying to deport him back, where he will most likely be murdered.

My father has lived here over 30 years, paid taxes, English is his first language, and he's never committed a crime worse than speeding. Doesn't the government have better things to do?!

But, you know, coming from Europe and forcing the Native Americans off their land and not even bothering to learn about their culture is totally fine.

I love you, I love your comment, I love this stamp!!! So very true. Illegal immigrants or people here without Visas(up to date ones), 6th grade English level reading and writing skills(yes, being bilingual is hard but so is being forced to take Spanish in HS for 2 years for us Americans), and a clue as to the country they are in need to get a clue and go back home. I am not Republican, I am not a Democrat, I am a moderate independent with a view and a patriotic one at that. Earn your right to live here via hard work and following the rules, not running faster than the border patrolmen and making the southern border an annoying place to live.

By the way, this goes for mostly Mexicans since most Chinese, European, and Canadian immigrants actually FOLLOW the RULES!!!!! Why can't you?

I completely agree. I'm from England, and London is very overcrowded because of all the foreigners. And I have nothing against immigration, but because our government won't do anything to stop it, like stopping them from having the tax-payer's handouts, they keep taking money for free and not working for it. And it's not just the illegal ones, the legal ones seem to flood over JUST for the money, THEN they SEND THE MONEY BACK TO THEIR OWN COUNTRY! And our lovely Tory/Conservative government are more interested in sending bombs over to Libya and cutting back on the Police force! :|

Amen. :D I have nothing against immigrants, as long as they come into the country legally. I mean, our country was pretty much built on immigrants, was it not? :) And about the whole "English" thing, I'm pretty sure you'd learn that in a decent citizenship course. :hmm: I don't really mind people holding on to their native tongue as long as they can speak pretty decent English.

Long story short, legal immigration is a-okay with me. :) However, I think that illegal immigrants are getting too comfortable here. I remember watching the news one day, and this illegal immigrant comes on TV asking for people to give him healthcare. :dead: What? You sneak into the country illegally and you want people to give you money when some people here can barely pay for their own medical bills? Hey, it may sound a bit callous, but something seems a bit wrong with that picture to me...

Oh right, who cares that the countrys next door are collapsing, the people there can just sink with it. It's not like it's any of YOUR buisness, everythings fine as long as you have no concurence from immigrants.
Or even better how about the countrys that are at war? Let the children and mothers die, just so that YOU don't need to pay taxes for them.

Congratulations on the most egoistic Deviantation I've seen up till now.

I definitely agree with this stamp, if at least on a base level.

I live right by the Arizona/Mexico border, and I think the first step to fixing the illegal immigrant issue is to get our government to work with Mexico's government to eliminate the two-tier system in Mexico. Because, yes, a lot of people immigrate illegally just so they can get out of paying taxes, etc. (which pisses me off), but I know a lot of people who immigrated illegally because they really needed to get away from their awful life in Mexico.

It's just too bad that it seems like our government doesn't seem to want to actually work towards a solution. :\

BUT ANYWAY, great stamp! :)

I don't mind illegal immigration AT ALL. They SHOULD get breaks from taxes after the horrid conditions they had to bear in their previous country. All they want to do is get to a place where they might have a CHANCE of having a decent life.

You know what? You're an ignorant person. Do you even realize how many people hat have migrated LEGALLY to America speak Spanish as their first language?

I've got news for you, bucko. If you're gonna be a citizen, you have to bear the responsibilities that come with it, and that includes paying taxes. If they want to live in this country, they need to do it legally and EARN a living instead of hopping the border and demanding free shit. I'm sick of the government dipping into my pocket, taking my hard earned money and giving it to some deadbeat who didn't earn it.

So what you are basically saying is that it is okay to break the law? It is okay to overwhelm the welfare system and put a strain on the federal budget?

I am not against immigration, in fact, I am pro-immigartion, but they need to come here legally.

I do not know where you get your logic from, but you definitely need to find a new source.

As far as I'm concerned, yes, because their lives suck in Mexico more than ours ever will in the US, and I think they deserve a break.

The people that need to come here the most would never be able to do it legally.

My logic it's just fine, but it's your choice if you choose to listen to it or not.

unfortunately...
and it's kinda amazing what they do yes they fight to get a better life even if they know they could loose their lives,
i won't never in my life work for another country, so that shows how much do they want to improve i prefer to be poor than changing the place i live cuz' i love it here....

they should actually apreciate people wanting to go to their contry D:

Agreed, agreed, agreed. My ancestors came here to escape their poverty and oppression, but they did it legally. I expect everyone else to do the same, and not use their situation as an excuse.

Not to mention ILLEGAL immigrants make it harder for LEGAL immigrants to get over here and make it. I say throw the deportations out to those who've been waiting in line for five years to do with what they will, he he.

I couldn't have worded my reasoning for disliking illegals better myself.by

It's not that I think they're horrible people. I DO think it's wrong for them to eat up my dad's money by using OUR public schools (they have a don't ask/don't tell policy) and OUR food stamps and everything.

One of my mom and myself's best friends fled communist Czechoslovakia (before the Czech Republic and Slovakia) but she actually did the right thing. She and her parents stayed in Austria until they got their papers to come to America.

Iva, our friend, also speaks perfect English (she actually sounds more like a New Yorker than a European... She lived on Long Island in New York from age 14 to her 20's), and she is a great mother and a police officer. A great, amazing, law-abiding citizen.

I have so much respect for people like her.

YAY!!!

People might agree with your opinion, people might don't, so i respect your opinion but just simply the fact you got the reason in some ways, in other not (I'm my way of thinking, i believe anybody is equal the same, just because they don't have a social security, just because they come from another country, doesn't make them human as you and me).

You are saying immigrant steal our jobs, but just tell me who the hell will do what illegal people do int for example Florida, be for more of 12 hours working under the sun, the really hot and really humid , people work over there picking up the oranges of the threes / whatsoever on the camp.

Or a House keeper going up and down , scrubbing the shit of the toilets, those jobs o don't think you or i will be willing to do near of our lives, we hire that people for be more comfy because we know that they are gonna work for a miserable wage of less of $7.15 per hour the sometimes work $5-$4 dollars per hour, still i respect your opinion but i think you are really going harsh into that poor illegal people.

Also forget to add that Its nuts when they get drives license but like everybody says, ASK THE GOVERNMENT, pretty nuts but if they have the money whats the problem.

So i politely excuse myself if i said something that might offend you in some way.

First off, picking between what language you want to hear when calling is not because of all the new people here, can't you like the fact that America has come so far along when it comes to diversity? We are one of the only country that has one main "language": English where many places have both English and the native language spoken there, do you think they feel like we're taking over their place? No, it's a sign of diversity.

Yes having people come here illegally does cause many issues, but ANYTHING illegal cases issues.

People die crossing the rivers to get here because it's a great country where people are free. Yes we should help them, but doing things like complaining because it's not legal isn't going to help.

Besides, half of this nation belonged to Mexicans before we got here. Here on the West Coast there are many towns/cities that are in Spainish. Hell California is a SPAINISH word.

We need more people here in America, that's what makes it America we just need more laws and more people paying attention to it.
